YOUR STAGE

Updated: Mar 15

As a human, you are here with one primary capital “M” Mission: To be who you really are, true to yourself in thoughts and actions, expressing yourself honestly and transparently.

The first step in accomplishing this vital Mission is by recognizing the inauthentic roles you’ve been playing, seeing the pseudo-self you’re presenting to the world.

All humans are actors to various degrees, being different in certain situations and with specific people. But acts cover up fears and go deep: Like becoming the class clown so no one knows how much you’re struggling intellectually. Or covering your insecurities by being super-sexy. Or being critical of others rather than admitting how critical of yourself you are.

Rule of thumb: Where there's fear there's an act attempting to hide it.

When you were quite young, you chose various acts based on how scared you were or how scary you believed you were. You decided “I must be, can’t be, won’t be, shouldn’t be a certain way,” and those thoughts got stored in your subconscious mind. They determined your acts and they sure felt real.

But, unlike an actor getting financial reimbursement performing a role, the only “compensation” you get is a very false sense of safety. Plus, being inauthentic gives you guaranteed attention and what looks like love, as well as the talent to manipulate others and your world.

Unknowingly, you surround yourself with “co-stars” that support your acts, each playing their specific roles to feed into keeping you inauthentic. Even though you believe these relationships are real, anything based on a lie actually keeps you separate and disconnected. In fact, any relationship based on not being real will get destroyed in some way eventually.

Whether you know it or not, not being yourself is the source of tremendous shame since it is your Mission, after all. Shame is a big cause of self-destruction, among other things.

Remembering who you really are allows you to embrace your Higher Consciousness, powerful, deserving, loving self. By remembering those subconscious traumas where you determined how you have to be to cover up who you really are, acts start to naturally dissipate. (I help with that)

Truth is, there’s nowhere to hide since, on some level, people see through your acts.

And, the only one you’re really hiding from is the one reading this blog.
